My Livia review: instant, drug-free relief from period cramps… Is it too good to be true? I tested Livia to see if it actually works, and I was honestly very skeptical at first.
Like many women, intense menstrual cramps are a regular occurrence for me every month. While I use many natural remedies such as essential oils and other supplements to help reduce PMS symptoms and pain, I thought that Livia also sounded like a great alternative. I'm always open to trying something for period cramp relief it is natural and safe, which Livia definitely is!
In this Livia review I will be answering all your questions:
- Does it really work?
- What does it feel like to wear?
- How does it work?
- Is it safe?
- Who can use L
ivia ? - Will I be using this device in the future?

My First Impression
The first day that I wore my new Livia device was also the first day of my period - aka when my cramps tend to be the absolute worst! I was very excited to try it and had high hopes.
I applied the flower pads to my lower stomach and turned the device on. At first, I didn't think to play around with the setting too much, so I left it on a very low setting for a couple of hours. I felt some relief but at this point, I was honestly thinking "I don't really feel anything

After a couple of hours, I started to adjust the settings and bumped it up to a much higher setting. I didn't really like this feeling either, because it was too intense.

Finally, I realized that there was a good middle ground between the high setting and super low setting. Once I tested out the intensity and found where it was most comfortable for me, I was actually amazed. It felt like a gentle vibration or tingling sensation that just distracts you from the pain of your cramps
It Really Does Work
Honestly, I was prepared to believe that Livia just didn't work for me. But after trying it out and experimenting for a little while it really did work. Once I got the setting right for me, I was hooked! It only takes 30 - 60 seconds for Livia for the pain to subside.
I wore Livia again on the second day of my period, and my cramps were still bad. I know this only because my Livia ran out of batteries when I was out of the house running errands, and as soon as it died I felt the pain kick back in. The battery lasted a good 12 hours, but I had forgotten to charge it through the night when I wasn't wearing it. Next time I will definitely charge it at the end of every day!
It was easy to wear while working or running errands, and I honestly forgot that it was there at times.

How does it work?
The technology behind Livia is based on the “Gate Control Theory” and works by transmitting a very unique pulse to keep the nerves “busy.” When the nerves are stimulated, the nerve gate is closed, preventing pain signals from reaching the brain and being felt.
Is Livia Safe?
Yes, Livia is very safe to use. It has undergone extensive clinical trials and has proven to be effective for 80% of women who suffer from significant menstrual pain. It has been approved by the FDA and the European CE-Mark. There are no known side effects.
Who Can Use Livia?
Anyone who experiences menstrual pain can benefit from using Livia! Even if you have PCOS or endometriosis, Livia could work for you. It is easy to wear in public because it is discrete, comfortable, and very compact.
Will I be using it again in the future?
After wearing Livia for the second day of my period I was hooked. I can honestly say that I will be using it again in the future, especially on the first and second day of my period when my cramps are the worst. I don't think this is something that I would wear at night (although I have read reviews of some women who have). I'll probably stick to ginger
The Takeaway
My honest Livia review is that I really liked this device. I was surprised by the results and will be recommending this to my friends. If you are someone whit PCOS or endometriosis, I think that Livia could be especially helpful for you.
