While these protein balls may taste like cookie dough, but they are packed with healthy fats, protein and antioxidants. I like to make a big batch and store them in the fridge or freezer to snack on throughout the week.
You can use any good quality protein powder for this recipe, but my personal favourite is Purica Power Protein. It is a fermented pea protein with brown rice, and 800 g of chaga mushroom per serving.
A Couple Health Benefits of Chaga
- Anti-oxidant powerhouse
- Powerful immunomodulator
- Adaptogen for adrenal support
This protein powder also contains a special probiotic enzyme blend to enhance digestion.
I will also add that it tastes amazing, and my favourite flavor is vanilla, but it also comes in chocolate or unflavored! Aside from these protein balls, I love adding this protein powder to my morning smoothies. It has a smooth texture, and the chaga adds a slightly nutty flavor! Thank you to Vista Mag Canada and Purica for sending over this protein powder!
