Coconut + Aloe Vera Lotion

Have you been wondering how to make completely natural, hydrating body lotion that isn’t greasy? This 4 ingredient recipe couldn’t be simpler! Just in time for Christmas craft season, this face & body lotion would make the perfect gift for anyone on your Christmas list who has to endure a cold, dry winter. All you’ll need are a couple of simple ingredients, a bowl, a whisk, and some small jars to package your lotion in. Let’s get right to it!

A light, healing lotion that is non-greasy, suitable as a face or body moisturizer.

  • 1 cup Lily of the desert 99% aloe vera gel
  • 1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 20 drops essential oils of your choice – see below for my favourite blends

Whisk ingredients together in a mixing bowl with whisk. You’ll notice that as you whisk the coconut oil into the aloe, it will turn white a creamy very quickly, forming a beautiful lotion! Add your essential oils and vitamin E, and you have the easiest & most beautiful lotion ever. No harsh chemicals or fillers in this natural cream. Your skin will be thanking you!
